Make Friends

yī tiān, wǒ qù sì miào chī zhāi fàn.
一天，我去寺庙吃斋饭。
One day, I went to the temple to have a vegetarian meal.

wǒ zhèng chī zhuó, tū rán páng biān zuò zhuó yí gè wài jí yóu kè.
我正吃着，突然旁边坐着一个外籍游客。
I was eating when suddenly there was a foreign tourist sitting next to me.

wǒ jiù hé tā dā shàn qǐ lái.
我就和他搭讪起来。
I started chatting with him.

tā lái zì mǎ ěr tā.
他来自马耳他。
He comes from Malta.

tā zhèng zài lǚ xíng quán shì jiè.
他正在旅行全世界。
He is traveling around the world.

tā sān nián qián kāi shǐ tā de lǚ xíng, tā yǐ jīng lǚ xíng sān nián le!
他三年前开始他的旅行，他已经旅行三年了！
He started his journey three years ago, and he has been traveling for three years now!

tā zài yìn dù lǚ xíng le yī nián, rán hòu lái dào zhōng guó yún nán.
他在印度旅行了一年，然后来到中国云南。
He traveled in India for a year and then came to Yunnan, China.

wǒ men liáo dé hěn yú kuài.
我们聊得很愉快。
We had a pleasant conversation.

wǒ men hù xiāng liú le lián xì fāng shì.
我们互相留了联系方式。
We left each other’s contact information.

wǒ men xià wǔ yì qǐ qù le kā fēi diàn, liáo le hěn duō huà tí, bǐ rú jiàn kāng, chuán tǒng wén huà, xìn xī jì shù děng děng.
我们下午一起去了咖啡店，聊了很多话题，比如健康、传统文化、信息技术等等。
We went to a coffee shop together this afternoon and talked about many topics, such as health, traditional culture, information technology, and so on.

这是一座有着悠久历史的古桥，非常特别。
This is an ancient bridge with a long history, very special.

wǒ men yán zhe gǔ qiáo de gǔ shí zǒu guò, wǒ gěi tā jiè shào le gǔ qiáo de lì shǐ.
我们沿着古桥的古石走过，我给他介绍了古桥的历史。
