Emma: (writing) One coffee and one white wine. I’ll be right back.

(Emma brings the drinks.)
Emma: Here you are. Are you ready to order?
John: Yes, we are.
Emma: Great. What would you like?
Mary: For soup, I’ll have the tomato soup.
John: And for my appetizer, I’ll take the shrimp cocktail.
Emma: Okay. Tomato soup and shrimp cocktail. And for the main dishes?
Mary: I’ll have the grilled salmon with vegetables.
John: I’ll have the steak with mashed potatoes.
Emma: Perfect. Grilled salmon and steak. And would you like dessert?
Mary: Yes, we’ll share the chocolate cake.
Emma: Great! I’ll bring everything out soon.
(Emma brings the soup and appetizer.)
Emma: Here’s your tomato soup and your shrimp cocktail. Enjoy!
John: Thank you!
Mary: Looks great!

(Emma brings the main dishes.)
Emma: (placing plates) Here’s your grilled salmon and your steak with mashed potatoes. Can I get you anything else?
John: No, this is perfect. Thanks!
(Later, Emma brings the chocolate cake.)
Emma: And here’s your chocolate cake to share. Two forks for you.
Mary: Thank you, Emma!

(After they finish, Emma brings the check.)
Emma: Here’s your check. Take your time.
John: Thanks, Emma. Everything was delicious.
Emma: I’m so glad! Would you like to pay by cash or card?
John: Card please.
Emma: OK, done. Here’s your receipt.
John: Thanks.
